Iwuanyanwu John Peter (born August 16, 1997) popularly known by his stage name Silver Jay, is a Nigerian musician, producer and  performer.

Background and early life

Silver is from Eheme Imbano Local Government Area of Imo State He was born in Kaduna state into a family of 4 boys and 5 girls.
According to his Parent and siblings, Silver Jay is a guy who never loved going to school. He always complained when sent to school. He was enrolled into Vital years Primary School which was the  first school he ever attended at that time. 
After finishing his kindergarten class, in primary 3, he was transferred to ABU Staff School    where he finished his primary school. He later got admission into St. Joseph Seminary Zaria where he spent 6 years studying.

Career

At the early time Silver Jay started his musical life, he was known as Jayp, his stage name. In 2019 he decided to change his stage name from Jayp to Silver Jay he tagged it a personal issue though.

Silver has dropped lot of hot songs from the start to present. 

He has being featured with different artist, the likes of Korozi, Jayskales and others.

As a producer, Silver Jay has Produced most of his songs, "One Chance", "Money"
