According to Appyday, Duncan Mighty did not show up to record the verse and neither did he travel to Lagos to appear in the music video even after hotel accommodations were paid for. Mighty, however, reacted saying the money paid was for studio booking. Sharing proof of payments done, Appyday wrote: "Duncan Mighty @duncanmighty Swindled me, collected 1 million naira to feature in my single “She Don’t Care” did not show up. Above is proof of payment to Duncan @duncanmighty and his brand manager Western Momodu. Totaling 1 million naira.

"Plus conversations between Duncan’s manager and my manager. Duncan claims the money was for Studio booking, My People please which Nigerian producer collects 1M for studio booking to record a verse on an already finished song? "Besides, My single was already finished . I only paid Duncan to drop a verse in my finished song and be in the video. I already made arrangements for the studio and engineer, Duncan was just supposed to come to Lagos and record. And I also paid his flight and hotel accommodation. "And now Duncan pretends he is innocent And even says he will go to the River for me. Hmm .I have a question for my fellow Nigerians here, So in Nigeria some body will collect your money, refuse to do the job and also intimidate you? I am speechless..
