Kwara Gov. Sacks Femi Adebayo and others

Kwara state Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed has on Thursday dissolved the states executive council.
This was announced by the secretary to the state government (SSG), Alhaji Isiaka Gold.
In a statement issued in Ilorin, the state capital, Gold stated that those affected by the dissolution were; 19 commissioner,16 special Advisers (SA),7 senior special assistants (SSA) and 8 Special Assistants (SA).
Among those affected is actor and movie producer,Femi Adebayo,who is the (SA) on Arts,Culture and Tourism to the Governor.
The SSG included that Gov. Ahmed had instructed all commissioners to hand over to the permanent secretary of their various ministries.
Gold said that the Kwara Gov.also assured residents that additional measures had been taken to sustain government activities,pending the reconstruction  of the state's executive council.
Meanwhile, Gov. Ahmed appreciated the former executive council members, special advisors and assistants for their service  and contributions to Kwara State, while wishing the former commissioners, advisers and assistants the best of luck in their future endeavors.
